My baby girls like to sit in it, sliding up and down and she likes to play with a teething toy.
My 4.5 month old daughter will kick in this thing for an hour!!! She loves it and she kicks soooo hard!! The only complaint I have is that because she kicks so hard her right pinky toe is raw and red (because as we all know babies love to curl their toesies!!) and she got blood all over her new pajamas. She didn’t seem to care or notice, but I did and I feel horrible!! Other than that she loves it…it gives me 20 min to take a shower and shave my legs!! However, I see that it is about $75 now, and I paid $58 for it back in feb. I wouldn’t pay what they are asking today.
For the price, it seems rickety. The track which the seat glides on seems to move smoothly but the hard plastic track makes quite a racket – especially as your baby pushes up to the limits of the track. The noise isn’t the turn off- loud noises come with the territory of having a baby. The issue I have with the Kickin’ Coaster is that it seems to have a narrow window of use. My 5 month old son who isn’t that tall doesn’t have to kick that hard to ram the seat to the top. The music is a tad annoying but only because there is only the fast song and the slow song which I never used (my son preferred other places to sleep or relax). To be fair, he seems to love the upbeat song despite how mommy feels about it. He doesn’t like vibration so I can’t comment in that feature other than to say it’s a robust vibration on the stronger level. The coaster could really benefit from better light up features and don’t even get me started on those useless “toys” that are perched on the kick pad.
I would recommend getting this OR a bouncy seat – not both. If your baby is yearning for more physical activity then a jumperoo is definitely the way to go ( once they are ready, of course). In my opinion, the coaster is not worth the $65.00 I spent for it.
My 5 month old grandson loves it! It’s comfy,entertaining,multifunctional,and well made.
The seat is a well padded sling type seating that provides support. The cover is easily removed for laundering if you can keep your baby out of it long enough. It also has a padded restraint that is keeps them from falling out when they starting sitting theirselves up in it.
My grandson was 4 months old when I bought this. It didn’t take him long at all to figure it out. He loves to kick, loves the lights/music, and has sit himself up on occasion to touch the lights. He doesn’t complain when you put him in it and it’s gives mom a break.
It’s light weight, so you can take it all over the house or to the park. My daughter uses it sit baby and locks the kicking out so she can feed him his cereal or do his nails. He sleeps in it for a nap.
It’s well made. It doesn’t tump over, it’s sturdy, and if you have a larger toddler…they can’t destroy it.(I have a 1 year old and 3 year grandkids that have really tested it out!)
Over all it’s a great product. Grandson and his mom can’t get by without it. I think the thing is pure genius! It’s absolutely the best present I’ve ever bought a new mom.
I took it out of the box and literally 1 min later i was done putting it together. didnt have batteries on hand so havent used that part yet but baby loves it he is 4 months old and he always jumps on me and hubby so i knew he would love it. also he loves the rattle now dubbed teether attached to the buckles. only complaint is that i bought this 10 hours to early they changed the price on me from 70 to 62.
